About us

All for Kids

We provide interactive educational tours for people from overseas who are interested in learning about early childhood education in Canada.

As the importance of early childhood experience is being recognized more and more, so is the importance of professionals who inspire and nurture those little minds every day. Our goal is to act as a bridge to connect like-minded Early Childhood Educators around the world to learn from and motivate each other.

Our Story

Haruka, our founder, became an Early Childhood Educator in Canada.

She was fascinated by Canada’s early childhood education that respects children’s rights, diversity, and multiculturalism.

Having interacted with Japanese ECEs online during the pandemic, she realized that we need a place where people with the same goal “do all for kids” could come together to teach and motivate each other.

Haruka contacted Chihiro, who also works as an ECE, and wanted to help people learn about childcare in Canada. “All For Kids” was born out of the two’s desire to provide interactive educational tours that is full of learning and awareness.

Hello! My name is Haruka, an Early Childhood Educator with eight years of experience. Originally from the northern part of Japan called Hokkaido, I took a leap to Canada after graduating from high school to learn about early childhood education. After moving here in 2013, I quickly fell in love with the people, nature, and rich cultures that make up this inclusive country.

Over the years, I gained experience as a class lead, forest school practitioner, as well as one-on-one support worker. I believe that every child is capable, inquisitive, empathetic, creative and unique, and I feel grateful to be a part of those children’s life, and witness learning take place first hand.

As I gained experience as an educator and interacted with many like-minded professionals in Canada as well as in Japan, I began to dream of connecting those educators around the world. Being an Early Childhood Educator is fulfilling, but can be tough at times. What got me through those tough times and continues to motivate me to be a better ECE is other ECEs who also do it “”all for kids””. I thought it would be fantastic to have a place where ECEs can connect, encourage, and inspire each other.

Along with Chihiro, an ECE who shares the similar passion and values with me, we hope to provide an opportunity for growth, exploration, and cultural understanding through educational tours in Canada

Hello! My name is Chihiro. I was born in Fukuoka Prefecture. I majored in education and earned a Bachelor of Education from Sophia University in Japan. During my studies, I came to Canada for one year to study English and Early Childhood Education. I was impressed by educators and their philosophy, which avoids negative words such as “no” and “don’t,” using positive guiding techniques.

Right after graduating from university in Japan, I pursued a major in early childhood education at a public college in Canada in 2019 and obtained qualifications in ECE, IT, and SN. Since 2021, I have gained work experience at local daycares, observing children’s play, planning activities, and supporting children with special needs.

Currently, I am using social media to share information about early childhood education in Canada with Japanese people and am studying at Ashton College to become an immigration consultant involved in visa and permanent residence applications. My favorite Canadian food is the crazy-sized ice cream eaten on the beach in the middle of summer.
